Les Waterfalls is a beautiful and non-touristy waterfall that is located at the north of Bali, in the village of Les, in the eastern part of Buleleng Regency.
I went to this waterfall during my retreat at the Spa Village Resort Tembok Bali.
To get to the waterfall you have to walk along a forest path for about 10 minutes; the path is very nice, full of fruit trees.
Our guide explained us that the first part of the path is private-owned and so the fruit trees belong to the owners of the area, but the second part is public.
To reach the waterfall you must walk through both areas.
There are a couple of houses; one of them even has a yoga shala in front of it and there are also a couple of Warungs (typical Bali restaurants).
I was amazed by one particular tree. Despite it looks like it was withering with a hollow center part, it is still alive and growing.
And also by the beautiful flowers that blooms along the way.
When we arrived, I was thrilled. There was absolutely nobody there and the place was just magical.
Nature is amazing!
The waterfall is about 30 meters high; we took a couple of photos and then I went straight under the water.
It was cold but it felt great!
When my body told me I needed to warm up, I moved away from everyone, and I sat on a big stone meditating under the rays of the sun.
Upon returning there were several locals taking a shower (with soap included) inside the water.
I shifted my attention back to watching the waterfall, filling my heart with gratitude for the beauty of the place.
Then I sat down for breakfast with the rest of my friends and after a while, we returned to the resort because we had other activities scheduled for that day.
It was a wonderful morning!
Love and gratitude
