I believe that motivation is very important to create the best version of us in every single day.
Motivation is the force that encourages us to do things that sometimes we can’t even imagine we are able to do.
To succeed in life, it is very important to stay motivated, allowing the good energy to push us towards achieving our goals.
What motivates or inspires me?
I am inspired by the greatness of others, for their achievements and the ways they have managed to overcome their adversities.
This does not mean that I compare myself with them; comparisons are never good, we all have different situations, and we must start from our reality, not from others.
Sometimes it helps me to look back, either to recognize and be proud of my past achievements or to see how far I have already arrived.
Often it turns out that we have paddled many miles and we are not aware of it because we only focus on the horizon.
We must learn to value all the little steps we have done towards achieving our ultimate goal.
As I said in another post, music therapy is very effective. Music gives color to my life; it motivates me and inspires me.
I recommend creating playlists classified by different themed-moments (to go to the gym, to relax, to wake up, to lift your spirits, etc.)
Reading inspires me and helps me grow, especially on an emotional level.
Whether autobiographies (this what would be the same factor as I stated at the beginning), self-help books, articles or quotes from authors.
Writing notes to myself
When I’m going through a difficult time, I like to write notes at night, notes that remind me of my strengths and how lucky I am. Then I leave the note on the wall in front of my bed or on the table next to my bed, so when I wake up the first thing I see are those notes. That way, I start my day motivated.
There are many other things I do to keep myself motivated, these are just the basic ones.
