The other day while I was in the garden reading some articles, Joe, a traveler I met in Canguu, sent me a text: “Caravans in Canggu” followed by a picture of a super cool gypsy caravan! I replied instantly asking him where was that and he told me that it was was only five minutes away from my location.
Without a second thought, I stood up, I slipped on the slippers and I went to meet him to see those Caravans in Canggu!
The collection of caravans was even prettier in live than through the pictures. What a beautiful place! Multitude of colors tinting and giving life to even the last corner of each caravans! All of them surrounded by green vegetation and if that was not enough, the sun was shining and the sky was blue. What else could you ask for? I felt so lucky just to be able to observe this paradise. I felt literally as if I was in a fairy tale.
I’m not sure if it is allowed or not, but I got on the caravans and I even went to snoop inside.
Of course I could not miss my split moment! 😜
I followed the path towards the beach and at the end I found this restaurant called “La Laguna”, packed with colorful cushions. I believe that they offer delicious food and juices but we were full in that moment, so we thought it was better to come back later.
To reach the beach I had to cross this beautiful bridge.
At that time some ducks were crossing just below the bridge and I stopped to watch while they were moving from one side to the other .
The beach just after the bridge is not very nice, but we found some straw huts that I loved so much!
The sand was so hot that we could not walk barefoot, so we headed to the shore and we continued our way with our feet soaking towards to the west, in direction to Berawa Beach, looking for a surfboard.
How to arrive here?
It is in Canguu area, about 10 minutes from Seminyak.
The truth is that it is easy to find. My advice: write ” La Laguna, Berawa ” in Google Maps and let the GPS lead you there! haha
The address is Jalan Pantai Kayu Putih, Berawa, Bali. My searcher was not able to find it, but here you have it just in case!😁
