Information about Yoga TTC
The practice of Yoga can be addictive, so it is easy to reach a point where you want to go further, learn more details, understand the meaning of each movement, connect with your inner peace, go deeper into spirituality, etc … then it is when you might plan to take a yoga teacher training course.
What is a Yoga TTC?
Yoga Teacher Training is a training course for teachers of Yoga, which usually includes:
- Yoga Practice: depending on the course delves deeper into one style or another.
- Teaching of asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), kriyas (cleansing techniques), mudras (body gestures), bandhas (energy blocking techniques), relaxation techniques, meditation, etc.
- Teaching methodology
- Anatomy and Physiology
- Philosophy, lifestyle and ethics of yoga
- History of Yoga
For whom is the TTC?
The Yoga TTC are not just for people who want to be a professional yoga instructor. These courses are for anyone who loves yoga, who wants to learn and who has had some experience in the world of yoga.
No need to be an expert or have a lot of experience. As I always say, the best of yoga is that you can always adapt your practice to any level and situation, but obviously I wouldn’t recommend taking the course if you have never practiced yoga before.
Types of courses
The base is the 200 hours course. This is the first course that everybody should do, whether your objective is to improve your own practice itself as if it is to acquire the necessary training and knowledge to be a yoga instructor.
Once completed the 200 hours certification of yoga, you can access to various additional workshops and certifications as yoga for pregnant women, yoga for Kids, yoga to prevent or cure back problems, Acro-yoga, etc. .
Also, if you want to increase your training, then you can access to the 300 hours TTC of yoga, thus completing the certification of 500 hours.
I recommend to visit the Yoga Alliance website where you can find all the information you need about courses, teachers, schools, certifications, etc.
It is a highly reputable organization so it is preferable to choose a facility that is supported by them.
